Eh, I like how it looks. Doesn't mean I expect anyone else to, nor does it bug me if they don't.

Well, there's a chance my TOB and/or clutch fork is starting to go. A few months ago I started getting a "tuhtuhtuhtuh" or similar (i don't know how to enunciate in text) if I depressed the clutch all the way, but not all the time. Same thing happened tonight while I happened to be with some 86 guys down here, and they think it's clutch-related.

I think 2017+ are supposed to have a better one?

Unless I just put more stress on it the first 4 or so months learning to drive manual properly..

Unless I just put more stress on it the first 4 or so months learning to drive manual properly..

If it just squeaks while pushing it in or letting it out, with or without the engine running, it may be that just the clutch fork is dry. Several fixes have been posted to quiet it down (basically, lub it).

I doubt that your "learning curve" with the clutch, caused the TOB undo stress. Maybe the clutch disk took a beating, but they don't usually make noise unless they are worn out or are coming apart.

So, can the noise be heard if the engine is running but the clutch is NOT engaged?

How about when the engine is running and the clutch IS engaged (pedal pushed to the floor)?

How about a video/audio -

I'll try to take a video/audio another time.

As far as squeak while pushing in/letting out, yeah I've gotten that at times, but not all the time.

Nope, usually it's when I've started the car and then engage the clutch. When it happens I feel like it happens more often within the first half hour or half mile since the car's turned on. But can also happen later than that from stops.

How many miles on your car?

So, when you push in on the clutch and start the engine, does it make that sound (not the squeak, but the other sound) or does it just make the sound when you let up on the clutch pedal?

Calling on all clutch/TOB experts, we need a little help here -

Just passed 18k the other day. When I start the car, it doesn't happen right at that moment. But once I depress the clutch fully to shift into gear, then it does the sound. It stops when I let up on the pedal past the bite point.

I used to drive a Fiesta ST. Loved that car, but the small interior space wasn't cutting it.

I never felt cramped, but at 6'1" the top of the driver's seat back was definitely behind the B pillar. Probably looked pretty silly from the outside.

Hey now, that red pinstripe was hand drawn! I even paid extra to have my initials written along the pinstripe at the back of the doors.

I must have missed this piece of info when looking at coilovers.

Fortune Auto Coilovers are designed and assembled in Richmond VA.

I'm a HUGE fan of MADE in USA!

And, I thought I had made up my mind on what I wanted... Back to researching....
