When the V2xx tune are available for G rom I would load up the 91 (USA MON) roms and see what the knock looks like on out 98 RON fuel. If it looks ok then load up the 93 (USA MON) ROM's and check knock again.

My experience has been that the USA 93 fuel is superior to our 98 RON, I currently use United Petroleum 100 RON fuel all the time.

Most likely due to ethanol content.

Figured this is as good a place to ask as anyway - Does OFT offer a package with a Vortech Super Charger tune? I checked their site and I only see a package bundled with the Super Charger and their Header, and their OTS library doesn't show anything for forced induction.

For those of us who already have Vortech with ECUTek - is there an available option to buy the OFT and get a Vortech tune for it?

PM or emailing Shiv is probably your best bet.

yes, we do offer a Vortech-based package with the OFT (OFT300). We will also offering a SBD Turbo-based package with the OFT as well (yet to be advertised on the website). So that may be worth looking at since it offers the same power level, with less boost and more low-end/midrange torque. Feel fee to email sales@vishnutuning.com for more info

Thanks Shiv - Sorry for the confusion, I actually already have a Vortech, but I'm interested in what options I have as far as buying an OFT and getting a Vortech tune for it to replace my ECUTek setup. Is that something you sell - just the tablet and a Vortech tune to go with it?

When is V2 OFT set to be released? I am on the fence about purchasing this and would like to get the latest release...

Sorry mate, email is definitely the best way to reach us (sales@vishnutuning.com). I'm hopelessly behind on PMs.

If you already have a Vortech kit, you can certainly purchase an OFT and use our OTS OFT300 map. Just as long as you are using the 2.5 bar maps sensor (provided by Vortech) and stock injectors, our OTS map should serve you well

Our v2.0 maps have already been released and support USDM (and Canadian) cars

might be worth a few notes in here on enabling/using Launch Control and FFS... that other thread isn't obvious on exactly what is supported OOTB and what needs modifying.

added the following spiel to original post

Launch Control -LC
Basically a second RPM limiter that is active when the vehicle speed is below the threshold speed set regardless of clutch in/out.
Launch control Disable speed = speed at which Launch RPM is disabled (ie you revert to normal red-line RPM limit 7600) default = 6mph (aprox 10KmH)
Launch Control RPM Delta = Amount to subtract from your Red-line RPM to get you Launch RPM e.g. if LC RPM Delta = 3600 your Launch RPM will be 7600-3600 = 4000 RPM
To disable Launch Control set LC RPM Delta = 0

Flat Foot (no lift) Shift -FFS
Is Another RPM limit activated when the Clutch is depressed (it does not monitor that the throttle is flat or 100%) for this reason it can activate on downshift.
Flat Foot Shift RPM Delta = Amount to subtract from your Normal Red-line RPM to get FFS RPM limit eg if you set FFS Delta = 2000 your FFS RPM limit will be 7600-2000= 5600 RPM so when up-shifting with foot on accelerator RPM will be limited to 5600 RPM as soon as you depress clutch even though your foot is on accelerator. Note its does not need the accelerator/throttle to be 100% or flat to activate its activated of Clutch switch only. This can sometimes cause issues on downshifts if you set the RPM to low for Flat foot shift.
