BRZ WRBLUE from Thailand
Hi guys,
my name is Pae. I live in Bangkok, and my ride is BRZ WRBLUE with the stick drive. BRZ is the 2nd car of my life. Before owning the BRZ, I had the black Honda City 2003 with CVT gearbox for four years. When the time comes for me to buy a new car. BRZ was one of the very first that came to my mind, however after going for a test-drive, I really like the car but Subaru dealers in Thailand, they don't have the manual transmission as a test car. So, I spent about a month thinking about which transmission should I go for. Many people suggested me that I should go for the automatic since the traffic in Bangkok is pretty insane, that got me thinking for a while. However, I made up my mind to go with the stick drive and I had to wait for three months for my car to arrive from Japan. After a long waiting, I finally got the car and it took me a while to get the feeling of the clutch lol. After about 100 days of ownerships, this is my creation ^^. Here is the list of all mods that I have done to my car so far. 1. Perrin cat-back exhaust system without resonators. 2. K&N drop-in air filter. 3. Enkei RS05RR 18x8.5 + 42 front, and 18x9.5 + 43 rear. 4. Yokohama AD08R 225/40/18 front and 235/40/18 rear. 5. Eibach(pro kit) lower spring that drops 1 inch all around. 6. Carbon Fiber Zele Wing (Coming Soon). For the body kits, I'm still considering about going for STI or Zele. Since, my wing from Zele will arrive soon in the late February. I will need to see the quality of the craftsmanship before going all out with the rest of the body kits. All the pictures are taken by myself with Nikon D3s + 35mm f1.4 Nano. Update 18/2/14 I just added a coupe of pics of my BRZ hitting the track on Valentine's day along with the club. Modification parts to come ! 1. STI lug nuts by Mcgard estimated time of arrival in a few days. 2. Invidia catless front pipe (Since I can't seem to find any Perrin catless). estimated time of arrival 1/3/14. 3. Zele Carbon Fiber Front Lip estimated time of arrival 10/3/14. 4. Zele Carbon Fiber Wing estimated time of arrival 10/3/14. Update 23/2/14 Now, the STI lug nuts have finally arrived, I really love the design of the lug nuts especially the STI label on each of them. Within the box, it also comes with the special block(that used to remove & mount the lug nuts on the wheels). By having that special block, it ensures me that my wheels now have some sort of security system to prevent other from stealing my wheels. and hell yeah it looks so nice on my car Moving on, a few days ago, I just replaced the head unit, since the OEM head unit of BRZ in Thailand only comes in the old fashion way(without the touchscreen). What annoyed me the most of that old head unit is that during the night the colour of the buttons and the display screen is green(the ugly green). Despite all the red/orange colour of climate control and tachometer. So, I decided to mount Pioneer AVH-X5650BT and a rear camera on to my ride. After using the new head unit for a day, I found that my life is much more easier than before. I can now answer the phone while driving via bluetooth and the rear camera really help me estimate the distance when it comes to parking (I have to watch out for the bump that can damage my exhaust tips). The sound quality also increases which really surprised me. Lastly, I just solved the rear deck noise problem that occurs to me a week ago after hitting the tracks with my friends. I found a solution to solve that mysterious noise from this community. I'm very appreciated for all the users that keep sharing about the experience with their cars. Update 4/5/14 Here is the list of what I have done over the last few months. 1.Zele CF front lip 2.Zele CF spoiler 3.Invidia catless front pipe 4.HKS Racing Suction Reloaded Intake 5.Tom's tail-lights. There are still a lot of things to be done including side skirts, rear diffusers, KW V3, Recaro CS, and ATS braking system. What really concern me is the gap between the tyres and the fenders. I can easily put two of my fingers(my fingers are very small) vertically to fit that gap. I want to reduce that gap and improve the ride quality at the same time. I will probably go for the KW V3 first for the next mod. End. I will keep in touch with every comment and any update about my BRZ. Have a good day people. Yeah the road is pretty rough here, there are so many potholes and uneven road surfaces. I really wanna lower the car about 1 more inch but I guess, I will wait for the front lip to be installed first. Yea, at first I was gonna go for the RPF1, but when I saw this set of wheels, it changed my mind. Thanks ^^. Thank you. |

You should find me a GT86 owner that wants to trade for a Scion airbag so I can bring mine back when I go home.
Finder's fee would be paid in liquid form. |

Okay, I will ask people in the club for you then. Since, GT86 is outnumbered BRZ by 10:1 here. Yeah Finder's fee must be paid indeed lol. |
