Torque app for android question

Hey, just a quick question, I plan on putting the AVO turbo kit on my FRS, and I was just wondering if anyone knows if the Boost gauge on the torque app for android only works with factory turbos or would it indicate the boost pressure on an aftermarket turbo setup such as AVO's, would I need any supporting mods?

Thanks!

I would think so, from what I read all the reviews/information I've read is pretty awesome, the gauges seem to be top notch in accuracy considering it pulls all the information from the ECU, the reason I'm looking into is because of several reasons,

-Sure real gauges are a little more appealing to the eye, but the app has a insane amount of features including the choice of color for your gauges, digital or analog, you can place them wherever you want, and you literally have access to over hundreds of gauges.. No gauge pod would be able to do that.. Lol

It provides a way to avoid from the hassle of finding a nice gauge pod, setting up all the gauges, and it would be a lot cheaper!

From what I can understand, the gauges are accurate and my main focus would be gauges like

EGT,
AFR,
Boost,
Intake temp,
Coolant temp,

Any main focus for a FI platform..

As for my setup,
I plan on getting a Nexus 7 16GB wifi (I have no intention on making this a HU system, it will simply be my gauge pod/gauges) they're cheap and reliable.

Just a simple suction cup window mount ( will mount close to pillar probably)

And the OBD II bluetooth reader,

As for power supply to charge the tablet, I think I might hardwire a connection close to the pillar aslong as I can make it look not trashy or anything. Or I can always charge it every night.

I am currently using this in mine, no turbo, so I can't comment on that sensor data. The data 'lags' a bit, depending on how many sensors are being monitored. For example, if you simpy monitor RPM's, it is real-time. If you have 6 monitors up, I find there's about a 400-500 millisecond delay. This may be phone/hardware related, although I don't think so.. I have a relatively fast Galaxy Nexus.

Got the OBD-Bluetooth interface and Torque Pro...everything is fine but when I check the trackLog-****.csv file exported I don't see anything aside from the GPS data: GPS Time, Device Time, Longitude, Latitude,GPS Speed (Meters/second), Horizontal Dilution of Precision, Altitude, Bearing, G(x), G(y), G(z), G(calibrated),
What am I doing wrong?

I haven't used that feature as of yet, however I think they're may some settings you have to play with in the app. I'm still waiting for my nexus 7 to arrive so I've only used the app on a buddys device. Also I made an "official thread" for this specific app, so maybe if you ask your question on there someone will have an answer : )
