Hi,

Anyone knows the OEM part number for the center pocket panel piece with push button? See the circled part in picture.

Thank you!

After digging through the same part number applies for both cars it is:

SU00303206

HOWEVER look for the one that says W/Smart Key like this one:

http://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/p/Scion_2015_/Console-Compartment-Pocket/10818325/SU00303206.html

Subaru appears to have the same issue with naming the same part number for both parts when they are in fact different but have the same part number

That's a thing??? That's one of the things I dearly missed on my BMW! Works on an FR-S and everything? I have got to get one and figure out where to go to install it!

Start button? Yes, they have it in the BRZ (maybe not the base one) and only in special editions of the FRS. I had the RS1.0 but I destroyed that panel with some mods but I needed to restore it back before I sold the car.

There are start button retro fit kits for the FRS I believe. Installing it will involve splicing the starter wires though.

I'll look around and try to find the cleanest I can. If you or anyone have any tips on that, I'm all ears.

You understand that the swap is not a 5 minute plug and play operation right?
It is far more complex then you would think.

Most any info you could ever want is on this forum already.

It's not really an issue per se, the part name code in the diagram (the number shown in the diagram) is not a part number, it's just a code for a part (it's a numerical "description" of a part). The same number is used across all catalogs as a way to reference/look up a part. The part number itself is what will determine the actual fitment/part type needed.

You're right though, SU003-03206 is the correct piece for cars with smart key.

Jeff
