If I were you, I'd hold off on the power. I don't wanna stereotype, but a 16 year old shouldn't be worried about that. With that said, if you really want to go FI...

You're probably going to have less issues with the supercharger. Less parts to break down on you. However, you're not going to get the same type of power.

Turbos will give you the power, but more likely to have something break down with more moving parts.

If you do go FI, do your homework in the FI threads. If you cut corners in any part of a FI build, you're going to have a bad time.

I dont want the engine to break down like at 50,000 currently has 4,000. Also which brand do you think is better I've heard the best ones are Vortech and Jackson Racing anyone know other ones that may be better or which of these are better? any help is appreciated! Thanks!!
You're 16. Honestly save your money. It might suck to hear but when I was that young I could barely afford car payments plus insurance let alone 'oh shit' for if/when something breaks. I don't know (don't need to either) your finances, you might have saved lots in the past but it's just a suggestion.

In terms of F/I what are your goals? Track car or fun DD? How much power?

I want to track it sometime but its not gona be like a weekly thing maybe once every 2 months or so and the money I have it saved up some and my parents said they'll help me get it if it wont damage the car. I dont need like 4, 500 hp but around 250-300 would be nice which I think is all this car needs. Its my daily car but it would be nice to beat my friends wrx

Not just a matter of slapping FI on and driving away. There is a pile of other work you should do to the car to support that extra hp. Don't get all caught up in the numbers game or think you need FI just 'cuz your buddies say "more horses bro". I am with the others and recommend getting a few more miles under your belt before you start looking to boost.

Oh boy, I would do some research on the net and learn how an ICE and various boost options work before relying of people's answers on an internet forum. Based on your question, I'd recommend you not even think about touching your engine yet.

If you want to short cut it, just look at the various dyno graphs for each product to get the best torque/hp curve that meets your driving need. Then investigate how many of those you end up interested in actually survive regular daily driving without catastrophic failure or constant maintenance and monitoring.

Put some miles on it. Your going to be going down an expensive road, and you're giving the dealership a good reason to deny warranty work, cause many will blame anything and everything on your mod.

Learn to drive first. It will kill you just fine with the stock engine. No sense being in a hurry. Besides, mom & dad would probably rather spend that money on college tuition.

Start with something small, bolt-ons, tune and such. Then, if you like the gain in straight line performance these mods offer, sell the FRS and buy a Mustang.

And exactly what is this "FRS TRD Edition" you speak of?
