Holy jesus thread is hilarious!

Literally everyone claimed a different answer by invoking a different scientific subject.

Statistics was invoked to discourage through risk assessment.

Mechanical Engineering was invoked to discourage through weight transfer & inertial changes.

Inorganic/Organic Chemistry was invoked to discourage through flammable/toxic gases coming off of the battery due to interaction with the surrounding atmosphere (air we breathe).

Electrical Engineering was invoked to discourage because of cold cranking & amp drops under some blah blah condition.

So just to keep up the negative streak I would like to add...

Thermodynamics: Your car is going to dissolve into its basic elemental components as time goes to infinity... According to the 2nd law of thermodynamics you and your car are going to be screwed anyways regardless if you move your battery.

It's the Di-Hydrogen Mon-Oxide.
Sucks, but there it is.

I mean, if you really want to get philosophic, everything is just information. The differences between a person and a rock and a car and a body of water is the way in which a few types of sub-atomic particles are assembled. And the difference between those few particles is the way in which smaller particles are assembled.

But I digress...

Some particles are assembled better than others.

I was just adding to the philosophical particle discussion.

I believe you are a bit confused. You don't change the suspension after a FI installation because of the extra weight, but because of the need to get wider wheels/tires and have more grip.
