Can i ask a couple more basic questions for the layman...1. Is it worth it to run the new stage 1 map over the last version? Is there any real improvement or just minor tweaks that wont do much? 2. If it is worth it how do u update the ecu? Meaning do i have to return it to stock or is there an auto update once i hook the oft to my car? Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.

v1.60 tunes aren't released yet, so the latest is still 1.59.

The 1.6 tunes will be worth it, but you'll have to wait still.

As for how to update, you'll need to upload the new tune to the OFT and then flash that new tune to the car. There isn't a way to just "update" the tune, you have to replace the old ROM with the new one.

All 1.5x tunes were same the revisions changed for additional rom support not due tuning changes

have a read here

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68328

basically each time you flash the old data is completely erased and complete new "ROM" data written. It not an incremental change so no need to return to stock just flash what you want.

-Revised Stage 2 (revised ignition mapping)
-Added both 91 an 93 oct map variants
-No changes to E85 maps at this time.

By the time the v1.60 maps are released, there may be a few more changes. But that is all for now

Are there any changes to E85 now? lol

I've been on XDA for a very long time and I've learned not to ask devs when updates will be released. Shiv doesn't have to update us, but he does out of the goodness of his heart (either that, or he's a serious masochist). Even if he NEVER updated the tunes, his OFTs would still be flying off the shelves. Be patient, it'll be done when it's done.

Hello Pot.

Be patient. People asking Shiv the same question multiple times isn't going to make him answer it, nor is it going to magically speed up the time it gets released. He'll release it when its ready and not a day before then.
