The bottom of my car would beg to differ on #2 being a benefit lol

I don't know about the others but I keep my windows down, radio low or off. That kinda drowns out the gravel unless its too much gravel then the noise is torture.

Depends. I've found that most of the time the roads are extra crowded during holidays, specially in the twisty canyon roads. People are usually sight seeing, camping, etc.

OK guys... I am thinking to do a drive on either Saturday or Sunday morning... let me know if you guys have a preference. Probably not super early if on Saturday, perhaps a late morning drive to Mines Rd and lunch at the Junction? Or on Sunday... I am open to ideas on where to go.

Im down too. I'm going to be more active on drives this year. I don't get off work until 7am Saturday morning but I can probably make it if it's not too early. And if it's Sunday I can be there early

The rough plan would be meet up at 10AM in Livermore, roll out around 10:15AM. Get to The Junction around 11AM and they will be open for lunch by then. Those that want to drive more afterwards we can decide where to go, or just head back to Livermore after we eat.

I'll post up meeting point details a little later.
