I'd be happy to meet up with you so you can hear my SRT system and maybe determine if that is too loud for you. For what it's worth I haven't had any issues with it in terms of noise complaints/tickets.

Invidia N1

I have the Invidia N1 and so far pretty happy with it. It's loud but not excessively loud. Check out the picture in my garage.

I'm kinda confused now. I think the buddy club spec 2 might be a bit obnoxious to travel around with the girlfriend, family, as it's my only car.. I've been looking at the Milltek non-resonated catback system (made in England) and really like the way it sounds. I'm sure it's quieter than the BC spec 2, but the HP/TQ gains and deeper note are leading me to it. I definitely have to think about this one. Plus a Milltek distributor (Mann Engineering) is an hour away and can install it for me. I don't mind doing it myself but I want them to properly align it since I tend to screw the easy mods up

Here's a sound clip:

My issue is that I live in California (up-tight popo) and am worried that the exhaust will attract unwanted attention, even when not driving with WOT. I live in the suburbs and rarely pass 3k rpms when driving through my town. I'm pretty sure I can keep it under the decibal limit (I believe it's 95 db) but want to know what's your experience with loud exhaust and the police. Thanks guys.

Here's a link that shows the exhaust note at WOT:
The Invidia N1 is only 90 decibels and it's only $618 for the catback. I have one with titanium tips and I love it.

That's a really great price for the N1!

I just picked up my Buddy Club Spec II for $419 new from KSpec Racing. Looks like prices are starting to come down to more "realistic" levels! I've been seeing prices drop all across the board on catbacks.

Scott

BTW: I while I PREFER to do business with FT86SpeedFactory (you guys rock!) I just couldn't justify the extra $100.

Hey sorry to bump an old thread. $419 for a brand new JDM exhaust sounds like a solid deal. I googled "kspec racing" but couldn't find it. Was it a small local shop in your area? Anyone in SoCal able to pick up this exhaust for around this price? High sales tax kills any deals here.
