Recommended Shop for diagnosing car issues

Hello,

I have an edelbrock sc on my car that I installed myself but I am now getting check engine codes of P0171 and P1170. I have checked everything possibly relating to these codes and still cannot find the issue. I have checked for vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks using a smoke machine. Checked my injectors, maf sensor, o2 sensors..all good.

I'm at that point that I'm willing to just take it to a shop to get fixed...can someone recommend a reliable garage that can help me fix this issue in Toronto or GTA?

Thanks.

Thank you for the posts, I've read them both and I already have a new O2 sensor on the way to try and see if that solves my issues.

However, I don't feel like it will as the headers were not touched at all and the o2 sensors were working prior to the install. I'll give it a shot when I receive it though... is there any reliable shop you can recommend if it fails?

I have no personal experience with any of GTA shops. You should ask on the TSC website here:

Or check out their sponsors page here:

definitely seems intake airflow related as it's a lean code and a MAF code.

i actually troubleshot a friends' impreza recently with those same codes. ended up being a bug with its wings spread across the wires in the MAF. what the heck?? yep. airbox wasn't sealed properly, which is how it got in...

as for shops, sorry - can't recommend anyone.

Check out Burning Rubber in Oakville, they recently partnered with Boost Theory and are a full race shop that runs a large racing team as well.
Alex, one of the mechanics who also races, tracked down similar issues for me effectively.

I only trust Seven Automotive and Tougue Tuning to touch my car.

NV Auto is a good choice as well.
