I'm interested on the coil spring they are talking about with the Sach, is it lowering pink STI springs or just the one they put on the PP. I want the lower ride height but I wanna stay with factory parts! I would prolly buy the sach and the springs if given the oppotunity. Pretty sure the brembo is the same.
So far I want the following: Sti Under Body Spolier (front) Sti Rear Diffuser Badges here and there (sti and ts) Springs possibly the dampers if the price is good. Sti Shift knob(if it's nice) That's about It I already have the Sti wheels and I don't care for the side skirts. The wing is tempting, but I would have to change trunks or leave holes in my current wing lol I wish they came out with Plugs too.

Plus the Miata's engine is very receptive to (relatively) cheap modifications. Longtube header, full exhaust and a tune and you're looking at a 40 hp gain. Something the BRZ can only dream about.

Going to retract my previous doubt about the end result. This car seems pretty well sorted and worth the extra coin for a more serious twin from the factory. So for those who don't want to buy a base car and mod it up, this would do. Or toss on camber bolts, header, tune, and e85 on this car and you're "done". Well kinda.
The tires we'll find out what we get in N.A. probably not PS4s, but PSS have considerably more grip, so the tires could be something more in line with the PS4's grip level from another mfg (maybe an OEMish Bridgestone tire). Now North America finally gets something roughly equivalent to the MX-5 Clubsport + BBS/Brembo that auto press keep testing base 86's against (although I doubt we'll ever see another head to head because it's been done to death.) In that last MT test Randy Pobst was marginally faster in what is a base 86 vs a Clubsported out MX-5 RF. I'd expect the new BRZ tS to be somewhere between 1-3 seconds faster at SoWS driven by someone like Pobst if the aero and tires on the BRZ tS are legit. Then again who cares about all this shit? Drive what you want. |

We can swap trunks when ever I get the tS... I have a feeling I'm not going to like the big wing.

Personally I'd rather have 17 inch wheels. The BRZ is a small car it doesn't need 18s for brake clearance or any other reason. Lightweight 17s are lighter than 18s and 17 inch tires are typically less expensive as well.
Just upgrading the tires (from the factory) is going to make the biggest difference at the track. I'd like to see track times for a stock BRZ against a tS model with identical rubber.
