No issues for me either; many track days and 15K miles. Guessing manufacturing flaw. Talk to TF.

If it's aluminum, then chances are, if not properly heat treated, the strength properties drop by 80% at the weld.

No worries!
We'll sound you a replacement backing plate right away. PM me your name and address and/or order #. We'll get you back on track asap!

This should not happen. We put much effort into properly preparing each individual piece, and using quality materials to ensure durability.
Trying to maximize the opening size while having limited space.
On our Wilwood BBK the rotor is large enough that we don't have to put the opening near the edge.

We've had this on our Project BRZ for about 4,000 track miles and 4,000 street miles. It made a huge difference at Watkins Glen. This kit will also be the preferred kit for the Spec 86 Cup Road Race Series that's starting in 2015.

Making a duct kit for the APracing BBK.
We fabricate all parts in house, and use an actual OE spindle from a FR-S to make sure fitment is perfect.

Great ducts! We use them on our Project BRZ and their ducts helped us stay on stock calipers for a while. Nice thing is that the one for the OEM Calipers also work with our ST40 Calipers now!
