(Depending how you drive) and as for the noise your rpms will be higher by the same percentage increase as the Fd ratio difference. 4.1 to 4.56 is 11% 3000rpm is 3330rpm. Slightly louder but most people then drive 3-4mph slower (bonus less tickets) and noise is same.
For manuals though 4.56 or 4.67 seem to be the “sweet spot” autos a little higher. But FD swaps really depend on car use.
That’s interesting and good to know. Sounds like I just need to purchase it then, i love aggressive gearing. The IS350 I used to have had relatively aggressive gearing and that’s thing felt QUICK

I’ve heard weir performance has some pretty cheap kits you can get, like 2-300ish cheap (too lazy to look up). Way cheaper than the competitors though!

That may be the cheapest way to get a 4.3. Weir performance has some cheap ones to. Also RHDjapan has full kits everything but shims 650$ shipped prob about 3-400$ labor if you pull diff or 6-800$ labor for everything should include oil / both oil changes. Not actually that bad cost to benefit. On par or better then other bolt ons.

I would get the flex fuel kit.
I just put mine on this year, still setting it up, so even with a mix of E20 to E30 runs much better with my set up and still getting 27.5 mpg. The extra timing and octane help. I think you get gains up to around E50..

So far It runs better than I thought but you need a good tune...
