US Model BRZ Canadian Maps

My apologies in advance before the gang comes out in full force. I've been looking for this info here and on Google for 20 minutes, and I know it has to be out there, but I just can't find it. So, sorry, but here goes:

I have a US BRZ limited (2014), and I will be driving through Ontario later this month. Will I be able to navigate using my stock head unit with stock maps card?

Thanks in advance!

US Model BRZ Canadian Maps

I've been in Edmonton (and all around B.C. and Alberta) for a year with my U.S. BRZ.
Navigation works fine, it's indeed a full North America map

And you could also simply screen scroll your map to any destination in Canada, Zoom in and check that the map info is in your navigation system.

Yes, but just like in the US, it will tell you to go the wrong way down one way streets, turn left off of overpasses and follow roads that don't exist.

Exactly THIS!!! I got lost one time in Hamilton, Ontario cuz of this with a VW factory GPS unit. At least I could get a sexy British accent lady voice on that one.

Last week I shelled out the $150 for the latest maps, because the old maps had shown me off road when I could see a four lane highway laid out in front of me. The very first time I used the new maps, the nav system instructed me to turn left from a lane that was completely blocked by a permanent concrete divider onto a one way street going the wrong way. So they haven't really fixed the issues.

At this point I run Google Maps on my phone and run the car's system as a backup or for waypoints. If the two systems disagree, I go with what Google says.

On a more positive note, when I installed the new maps, I also installed the speed camera database. It probably already saved me a ticket. I was going 50 mph on a road that had a 45 mph speed limit. I came up on a guy going about 40, and he sped up to block me. If I sped up, he sped up. If I slowed down, he slowed down. Whenever we got to slower traffic, he would match their speed. In other words, a typical piece of shit Texas fuckwad driver. I've driven all over the country, and Texas drivers are by far the biggest assholes on the road anywhere.

Anyway, this piece of shit Texas asshole driver was really annoying me, and I had just floored it to try to pass him when the nav started beeping. So I downshifted. He had floored it to block me in, but he didn't slow down, and I saw the camera flash as he went through ahead of me. I was right at the speed limit when I went through. I hate those cameras, but for once I hope it was working.
