What should I do to my car in preparing for a supercharger?

I am planning on purchasing and installing a supercharger next year. Before that happens, I would like to prepare my car before adding all that horsepower.

I currently only have a Takeda Cold Air Intake installed in my car.

I was planning on installing the following this year:
- INVIDIA N1 Exhuast
- STOPTECH FRONT AND REAR UPGRADE brake package (still not too sure about this brand)
- Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
- Eibach Anti-Roll Kit

I know that my Cold Air Intake will have to be removed for the intake that comes with a supercharger.

Any comments on what I am planning to buy or what I should buy.

I would really appreciate it.

Well your going to want an oil cooler, tranny cooler if AT, and new tires at the very bare minimum. If you want to maximize the extra HP your going to want to do a little suspension work such as various bushings to help keep wheel hop under control. No point in lowering springs for a supercharger those are more for looks then performance but nothing wrong with installing them. Hold off on swaybars until your done all the suspension work your going to as those are a fine tuning part that should be done last to give you the feel you want as a driver. If your planning on more then just DD you should upgrade your radiator as well. As for exhaust your cat back does nothing but make noise if you want to make power replace the header and midpipe to get rid of both catalytic converters. As for bakes its not a bad idea to upgrade those if your driving aggressive but honestly just some better pads and fluid is all you need to do to start untik your driving improves on the track and demands better brakes. For steet driving you wont need brakes. You may also want to get some gauges to keep and eye on your engine. I would go with oil temp, oil pressure, and coolant temp, and boost in that order provided you want to get all 4. Thats about all I can think of right now. Enjoy your new supercharger next year

Make sure an oil cooler comes with the s/c kit
Might want an oil pressure gauge
Everything else you can view via ODB2 (torque app)
When you do the install, might want to switch from 0w20 to something thicker
Other than that, you can upgrade parts as you need them
(clutch, tires, etc.)
depending on what you do with the car...

Bingo! Ya switch to 10w30. And start with low base map tune and go from there.

Get the supercharger + ecutek kit first and then in terms of upgrades to compliment the added power, at the very minimum, oil cooler, top tier tune/tuner, better brake pads and sticky summer tires. I just recently installed the Jackson Racing supercharger as well.

I agree with this as well, but if you'll never track your car then you don't really need an oil cooler or oil pressure gauge. If you live somewhere that's cold, I'd stick with 0w-20 in the winter, otherwise get something at least 5w30. Everything else you upgrade power wise won't give you very much hp per $ spent compared to a supercharger (or turbo). If you intend on going with something that puts you over 300whp/260wtq, then you'll need a clutch, injectors, fuel pump. If you go over 330hp/280wtq or so, then you should think about getting forged internals/built engine. Getting a flex fuel kit and running e85 will give you more power and a cooler running engine, but if you're like most of us, it's either a hassle to get or not available in your area. Plus e85 will get you 20% worse fuel economy, but if it's 20% cheaper compared to 91oct+, then it balances out.

Choose the supercharger, tune, fuel and power target first then you will be able to identify what modifications are actually required. Track use has to be figured into the equation as well.

-strengthen valve springs
-Oil Cooler (thermostatic) depending on location
-Proper oil catch/separator can
-new clutch
-stiffen up the drivetrain
-E85 with boost is always safer
