Mine haven't done it, but I am keeping an eye on them.
Mine went away over the weekend. Washed the car and it hasn't come back.

If its true condensation, as opposed to a leak, it would most likely require a certain set of temperature/moisture/dewpoint events to happen (similar to fog) I would think. Not sure just washing the car would be enough.

Its similar to how on some mornings you get dew on the windows and some mornings you don't.

Just my opinion, I could be completely wrong. With my luck though, I'd see it in the first 100 miles, it would never show up again, until I hit 32,001 miles!

Not sure about the FR-S/BRZ yet, but in most cars, it's just inside the trunk behind the carpet liner/trim piece. Check there...

From what I read a couple days ago, you can take it into the dealer and because it is a known factory defect they order you some new tail lights, someone also had mentioned it is free of charge. I will try and find the link to the post.

Nice...Jay, did you find out where it's leaking in from? It is said that it may be leaking from where the mounting bolts are...Can you please confirm this if it is the problem?

I have condensation in my tail lamps just like the OP. Its visable almost every morning when I come out and get into the car. It's only visable for a short period of time though. By the time I get to work or the dealership, its always gone.

Now here in lies the problem, have any of you guys had trouble with the dealership replacing your lamps or helping you with the problem? OpenRoad in Richmond is arguing with me right now. I showed up last week to talk to them about this problem, I showed them the photos, and they told me they would look into it. I forwarded the photos to them (they asked for them) and they promised to get back to me.

1 week later and I haven't seen a response. So I emailed the service tech for an update. He just told me this:

I have talked to my warranty person at Toyota Canada and he says that the problem is unknown to him however when it has to do with condensation
within the taillights that the dealership will need to physically see the condensation before replacement is approved. So, if you would be able to leave it
overnight with us to confirm the problem then I would be happy to replace them covered under warranty.

Why do they even need to have my car overnight? Do they think I'm lying to them? I fired back an email which asks If I can just send them photos of the problem everyday. I still can't believe its this much trouble considering, this is the samn damn dealership that replaced Mr.Jay's tail lamps.

And they still claim to not know about problem?? What the hell?

I sent them the link to the Jalopnik article where this thread is reported. I sent them the "Tech Tips" image listed on the article. I also sent them the response which Moto-P mentioned earlier on page 3 of this article, trying to prove to them that this is a known issue.

If you guys can't tell, I'm really starting to get pissed off. I've only made 1 payment on this car and already the dealership is struggling to provide me assistance with something I deem, a warrenty issue. Why not just simply replace it and make me happy?

Moto-P... I could really use Tada's phone number right about now!

Their is a post answering how to fix this. I think it's a few loose screws or over-tightening which caused the housing to crack

Honestly he should not try to fix the problem himself. If he ends up damaging/cracking it in anyway then the responsibility ends up in his hands

Trying a different dealership would be my first thing to do.

The dealership just called me back. They just agreed to replace my tail lamps.

Finally after all the arguing. I even told the guy "why even give customers like me this much trouble when its just covered by the warrenty. Its a FLAGSHIP HALO car for Toyota after all".

They finally said they will order the lights and call me to install them once they arrive.

Finally a resolution though!
