Only after owning the car for 3 weeks, I've done my first mod. Told myself I'd wait until next year but. . . I'll have to redo it when the right gasket comes in next week, couldn't wait until then though lol.

Footwell lights
My car came with the blue footwell lights. My son (a future lighting engineer) said dad this is stupid, all the other lighting in the car is red. I agreeded with him. After looking at the options from Subaru and how ridiculously expensive that was I decided there must be another way to make the change to red. I bought some of these https://www.superbrightleds.com/more...ent-light/639/ I unscrewed the factory lighting unit, popped off the "glass" and removed the blue led. I then used the adhesive backing on the dot to fix it the factory light housing and soldered the wires to the factory plug. $6.00 and 30 minutes later I have red footwell lights.

Soooooo.... since I have a 2015 BRZ (07X WRB), and the STI/tS fender garnishes are only available for the 02C colour code, I decided to take a leap of faith and buy the tS garnishes anyways, hoping the colour difference wouldn't be too different. Once I got them, i was pleased to see that they were held on by only 3M tape and a single screw. So I simply removed the silver STI piece and bought new 3M tape and attached them on to my existing garnish on my car. Turned out MINT!

Not today but clay barred and detailed it. Even shined the tires which I don't normally do.

It's a little darker in shade and a little flatter in finish. You can see the difference in color on my BRZ compared to my WRX

I know there's a thread, but....any thoughts on a roof rack? Thinking about getting one, but worried that it might make the car look a little tacky....
Trunk space isn't really a problem for me now, but i'd like to have it just in case I do. Thoughts?

Why would it be tacky? As long as you actually use it and not just for looks than I would say go for it.
