Could be paper airplanes? LOL

I was at the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson last year. Got to see all the aircraft I read and dreamed about as a boy. Some that I built as models (F-4 Phantom and F-105 Thunderchief).

Yeah, they trust high value aircraft to morons

Your car is too slow to wear out brake pads anyway. Dont worry about them

Good thing you are in the snowflake generation. You would have lost your mind driving around with drum brakes! you had to pull the wheel and the drum to check the brakes. plus you had to pack the wheel bearings when you did it. Your hands got dirty it was terrible. I am not sure how I lived through it. Now I just have a mirror and a flashlight to check them.

1) Go to the first car you see in any parking lot.
2) Look inside the wheels
3) This is what you will see.

Shocking that this is news to some people.
Is the BRZ your first car ?
Most cars are probably using a single-piston, floating-caliper design, where the single piston doesn't cover much of the pad, where the caliper is not designed for repeated high loads, and where preventing uneven pad pressure isn't needed. Most econoboxes can have calipers with narrow designs with thinner structures to them because they don't see much weight and/or forces, nor do they get the repeated stresses of track use. While fixed calipers would be nice, they are expensive, so unless you shelled out the money for the Performance Package or aftermarket calipers, we are stuck with the OEM floating calipers that are more broad and thick for a reason.

Whatever the next generation is, I am keeping my car. I am that much satisfied with it. If I have to replace it before the new model comes, I will try to get this generation again and modify it exactly the same way. Just curious to see what they will do next.

I think this car was designed (meant) to be modified. I love its looks and driving dynamics too. And they sold it to me for a Corolla price Car deal of my generation!

I love the looks of the car myself. A little out of its element where I drive but still likeable

You are not welcome here (at least by me)!
Go get yourself some social skills (yeah, even on the web).
i'm so tired of bully accusers. this isn't 1st grade anymore.

a bully is:
Quote:
a person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive as vulnerable
does that post call you out? does that post harm you? does it intimidate you? are you weak and vulnerable?

i've got a low iq. i would expect someone with a higher iq like you claim, to understand the difference.*

*see? that's bullying.

i am intentionally ignorant on how drum brakes work. i assume they work on unicorn hooves and steel made of thor's hammer.

don't tell me, i don't want to know.

We have been down this road with him many times in many threads. His only response remains “look at any car in a parking lot”. He apparently only hangs out in parking lots full of econoboxes.
