well guys turns out I'm double stupid. Quebec City in Quebec. she also said something about a train tour or something. I donno. Honestly I just show up when and where she says. the GF is a lot more traveled than I am so when she asks where I want to go I just say, "somewhere I've never been.".

Still stuff to do in Quebec City, but winter is going to be a lot more harsh up there.

Also, better brush up on your french. Montreal is just about the only place in the province you can get away with English.

and Montreal is the only place that I've been up there.

I figured it might be colder being closer to the water and all. My French used to be pretty decent but I haven't spoken a word in like 10+ years so not so good now.

Quebec city isn't a bad choice at all. It will be very bloody cold though. There will still be piles of people that can and will speak English. If you at least attempt to speak French it will appease them and all of a sudden somebody that seems to speak no English will switch over to it.
