@Lischynski - What did you feel before it happened? I've been afraid of this happening because I've heard a LOT of this happening lately and currently have a stupid slow oil leak that I've not had daylight to inspect. (Planning on it this weekend to see if it's that oil plate or the plug or something silly I can fix)

It thankfully never went on me, but it was just a harsh grind when I wasn't rev matched (with a 100% disengaged clutch) going into 4th, downshifting and upshifting. If you were driving it equal to or harder than 25% intensity (if that makes sense) it happened every time regardless of whether or not you were matching revs.

My windshield caught a nice rock yesterday. Any suggestions on who to get it replaced through?

Also, @jeffsides I'll need a new ARIZ86NA windshield sticker if you have any.

I've been calling my 2nd gear "notchy" but it's quite a bit rough to get into and out of gear. Even with clutch smashed to the floor it feels like it grinds a hair going in and out and that's what made me ask. I'm currently running dealer trans fluid with 10k miles on it (Had them change It end of sept)

Maybe I should have it checked.

EDIT:: As for the windshield, Safelite will provide you two types of windshields. 1 with shade band (Tinting at top part of windshield) and one without. Most other companies are currently providing just the one without. As for who does the work well, the tech I had with safelite before I quit was acceptable. Did a decent job but was sloppy with the sealant, getting it on the paint, and when he took the window out he went to clean off the old gasket and took a small section of paint off in the trough.

I recommend gerber, but Safelite did pay to pix all issues with my vehicle that I called them on.

Safelite has done all my glass replacements on 3 of my vehicles including my FRS. The guy who did my FRS was great. He was very careful with the removal and install. He was also fast.

Ended up going through K&B for the glass. They were excellent.

And @Celadrielas I would take it in. My new transmission only took a day, and it feels better than brand new.
