The Spurs had that game before they missed 4 straight FT. From TP and TD too. They blew it. The DWade flop, elbow, missed calls, had little impact in my opinion.

Discuss. Or is this thread all about posting memes after the Heat lose?

They flop because they know the refs are willing to make those calls. If you want them to stop then we need to bring back hand checking and allow them to play REAL basketball again. Not this soft touch foul crap that caters strictly to superstars.

Both teams strengths are so different, in my eyes, so I'm enjoying seeing the old and wise vs. the young and resilient play from both teams. I still like the Spurs chances and know better to not count out the Heat. When either team starts to find a groove then the game becomes difficult or look to be a lost cause, but each team finds a way to stick around. I think this is the second NBA Finals in a while I can watch and not feel like its boring. So I wouldn't mind seeing this series go to 7 games and at the last minute to decide who's the champion.

They flop because refs are too influenced by the body language of most players. But yes, ^ all of that is essentially the problem. Its a man's league so let them play like men.

Completely agree. The sad part is that Lebron could flourish in that sort of the league. The extra sad part is that because of his mentality, he probably wouldn't.

I normally laugh at ideas like this, but as a Lakers fan, every time I see the Clippers play, I build a little more of that tin foil hat...

Also, I really really need the Spurs to win Game 4. Just got tickets to Game 5 and I want nothing more than to see them close it out. That would almost make up for this turrible season for my team.
