Actually, they look forward to "going home", especially when we run out of store bought cookies. That "running out" worked for a while to encourage them to eat more bananas, grapes and apples that we keep on hand, but then the 12 year old learned how to bake cookies from scratch. That's OK, as long as they leave a few for me.

The problem is our apartment is from the 1920s and doesn't really seal, at all. I can feel air coming in several different places.

You might consider sealing those areas off with masking tape. Then just pull it off when the outside air clears -

0-60 in 6.2 seconds, carrying 3,600 pounds, ain't all that bad.

It has a 6 speed AT with paddle shifters - but, I always keep it in "D", because I can't do a better job at shifting than it does. -
