JDM exhaust tips on FT86 v1 exhuast?

I want to replace my v1 exhaust tips to a JDM exhaust tips and was wondering if it's possible? sorry if I sound bit silly here but I really like the way JDM exhaust tips look over what I currently have.

Absolutely possible. I have JDM tips on my 2013 and they look so much better.

I think there is DIY, but I can go over the steps.

1. Jack up your car.

2. Try to undo the bolts that secure the exhaust tips to the pipe. Unless you are really lucky, you will break the heads off the bolts.

3. Beat the living shit out of the old exhaust tip with the claw of a hammer until you get the old tip off. It's been rumored that you can also use a cut-off wheel to cut through the bolt.

4. Slide your new JDM exhaust tips over the pipe and tighten the bold that holds it onto the pipe.

Step 3 is the longest.
