European Audio System Identification?
Hi, I'm waiting for my BRZ Premium in WR Blue Mica color and my only concern now is that the navigation system is not available as an option. All cars is delivered with a 6 speaker - single CD/Radio - w ipod connectivity and i would like to find the specification and manual for this one.
My dealer claims to be able to mount the Navigation system locally but i would like to evaluate this option now.. Please help me identift this unit (2 pics added) |

Not sure what the origin of this system is (probably Fujitsu) but it's the same as all BRZ's get in the Netherlands as well. Your best option by a mile is to toss this unit, skip the Subaru Nav unit all together (it's ugly and slow ass hell) and go for a good aftermarket unit straight away. Recommended head unit:
http://www.pioneer.eu/se/products/25...0BT/index.html with optional nav unit: http://www.pioneer.eu/se/products/25...220/index.html This is state of the art stuff, will cost less or at best the same as an OEM unit but will outperform it in every aspect. Plus it has a fully detachable screen for additional safety. |

In Netherlands they only have the radio you posted as factory installed equipment together with a 6 speaker setup. The Subaru nav radio is a dealer installed option so that doesn't change the speakers. So I think this is exactly the same as for Sweden and probably all over Europe.
