I'm just running the P3 Cars vent gauge... I wasn't planning on other gauges but at some point I'll get bored and do it anyway... lol

It has crossed my mind though...not because I need them but because it is something to do... the right gauge pod and gauges would look killer in my interior or any 86's interior for that matter. I do like the ATI triple gauge pod.

I know you aren't tracking your car or pushing your setup, but it would complement the look, and win a few points. I'm going to do ortiz gauge pod gauges and a vent gauge. Not a fan of A-pillar. Im not familiar with the ATI ones. I'll have to look it up.

Curious... can you provide a link to the Ortiz gauge pod? I've never heard of that brand...

My build is all about a subtle oem look. These instrument cluster ones do that.

Very good choice! Those are very clean looking... I like the line-of-sight those offer compared to the ATI gauge pod.

Ok... so I'm trying to put my show dates together for 2017...as far as major shows go, I plan attending several of the following:

HIN Dallas | May 13
SPOCOM Dallas | October 14
**(Probably 2 of the 3 Houston Shows)**
Stancewars Houston | Nov 18
HIN Houston | December 9
Wekfest Houston | (Fall - TBA)

Local Show(s) so far:

West Texas Shakedown, San Angelo, TX | Fall - TBA)

On the fence about these:

Import Faceoff Noble, OK | March 26
Import Faceoff Ennis, TX | May 7
Import Faceoff Marion, TX | December 10

More likely as a spectator:

DFW Auto Show | March 22-26
Dub Show Dallas | June 4
Formula Drift: Round 7 | August and/or September 9

Hope to meet some of y'all in person this year as well as see your 86s!

I finally got around to starting my next project this afternoon... I gutted out my rear seat back, cushions, and seat belt reels, etc. in preparation for the installation of my Essex harness bar and the rear-seat delete I will fabricate. Going to use cardboard to create my stencils. I plan on using either aluminum or ABS or a combination of the two then covering the finished panels in alcantara.

I still need to get the harness bar painted Beatrush gold and my seat backs 37J before I can install them.

If all goes well I will post a write-up with dimensions for my rear-seat delete.

The following is what I was able to complete today on my rear seat delete project...

Stenciled up using 6.75"x10. 5" card stock. I basically was trying to get to a pretty good starting point. Because of the bend I knew it would be a trial and error type of process.

Ready for first trace...

I used 22"x 28" poster board for my template...

First template draft...

Made some adjustments...

Retraced my adjustments...

Fitment check...

Latest and greatest template...

Fitment so far is looking good....I left some space on the edges for the fabric I will use later... that fabric will probably be alcantara.

I'm planning on cutting a slit to slide the bracket behind the carpet. I may put sticky back felt paper or paint it to help conceal it. This bracket will add to the strength to the panels.
