I don't think the spoiler that comes with the car compliments the cars lines

I am loving the upgrade even though i was not expecting to buy this car for another year lol. I was hoping my tC would hold on for a while longer

Yup I may be getting a duckbill as soon as I see one I really like the five axis one is not bad. Funny how seeing a premium BRZ is more rare than seeing a limited. Without the fogs it looks more Audi like in my opinion lol

I am loving it so far. The only complaint i have about it is the huuuuuge blind spot it has. but that may be more of an issue of me being a little on the tall side. shorter drivers may not have that issue. I was shocked i ended up with the car. since i needed a car that day i was close to buying a 2013 genesis coupe 2.0t but that dealership was trying to rip people off and charge way to much for the car. I walked out of there, and called around and the second dealership i tried had 2 BRZ's there that were unclaimed. A blue one and a black one.

Actually I did too at first, but after getting some time with the oem spoiler in person, I'm fond of it now and will not be changing it out for the duck bill. The oem spoiler is very similar to the one found on the 2006-20011 civic si's.

I have only seen the spoiler once in person.

You don't need to pour $5k into fixing it. It's got a 2AZ-FE engine, the same as the Camry. A replacement should be really cheap to source. If you're not savvy with doing it yourself (which you could do in a weekend with a rented engine hoist, a decent set of hand tools, a few friends and beer/pizza), you could probably pay someone to do it and have it fixed for under $2,500.

Well, the red ring surrounding the grille is probably what he was talking about.

Im not savvy at all with that kind of stuff. I have a friend who is but the insurance cost to cover both of those cars would be way more than im willing to deal with at the time being. But thanks for the suggestion.

Ehhhh we all have our own taste in things we do to our cars.in my opinion i dont see anything fugly about it. It's not like i have some fake vents all over the car, and some spoiler that doesn't fit it. but whateve's we all have our own opinion on things.

What does insurance have to do with anything? Do you need to have the tC registered to keep it?

If i were to fix that tC i would plan on driving it again. and if im going to drive it again i would need it to be insured.
I know if i put the money into fixing it i wont want to let it go.
