It is only fair since you probably single handily doubled the number of vehicles in the State.

It should be amusing watching the smog checker trying to find the engine of the lotus under the "hood" -

(pssssstt - just tell him it's an all electric car - )

I can't wait until Tesla's are cheap enough to buy the shells for dirt. Stick an LS1 in there and never go to emissions lol.

that's going to be a very, very long time. too many people buying them up to re-use the parts.

this is just one, there's at least a dozen places like this...

I took my test on a Kawasaki Dual Sport G4TRD 100 with a dual range transmission. I rode it standing up like a trials rider most of the time.

I put it in low range and then ran it through the gears for all the sections. The last one was to ride up through the cones, turn around and stop. Then take off heading back towards the observer as fast as one could but, stop before hitting him. Well I was screaming towards him in 5th gear in no time flat. It sounded like I was doing 100 miles per hour but I was probably only doing 30. He ran away so fast thinking I was going to run him over... But, when he turned around I was stopped right where I was suppose to have.

I've had lots of motorcycles, street, dirt, road race you name it. This was my last trials bike.

There is no front hood, so yes, funny.

Lotus is stock with stock factory cats. should be no probllem. The twin has the bigger injectors and E85 kit, which does me no good here with no e85. I have the Jackson Racing carb sticker. I'm hoping that is enough since there are like 4 or them in the state. Car does look stock under the hood to the naive.

By that time, they will be out of the emissions testing period for most states.

Is a trials bike just a fancy name for a dirt bike?

While we are 2-wheeling, back-in-the-day, I'll share my first motorized two wheel machine story.

My uncle told me that he had an old motor scooter that his kids grew out of in his barn if I wanted it. YES, a barn find! My dad said that the next time we had a load of hogs to take to market and were up that way, we would stop by and pick it up.

So, I fed the hogs an extra ration for the next month to get a load of them up to 200+ lbs each. OK, off to market and picked up the scooter on the way back -

I don't have a licensing story because, at the time, you didn't need a license to ride one of those, nor did the scooter need a license (so my dad said - ).

No helmet no license - my first experience of "the open road" -
