FS: Stock BRZ head unit (Sat, Nav, BT audio, etc) with amp & speakers
I pulled this out of my BRZ after just a week. It works perfectly. Comes with the Subaru-supplied 4GB SD card that holds the map data; the stock amplifier; and six speakers. If you don't know about this head unit, it's a Fujitsu Ten FA601US. Plays just about every CD format there is. Plays DIV-X, whatever that is. Will play Bluetooth audio from your phone; will dial your phone hands-free; you can customize the startup splash screen (see below). It has HD radio,
Sirius-XM (you have to provide the subscription for that), and lots more. For navigation functionality you'll probably need to attach a GPS antenna; that's not included. These are half the speakers; you'll get three more like this. Looking for $475, and for that price I'll ship it FedEx at no extra charge to the lower 48 states. If it doesn't sell right away, I'll drop the price a little at a time until it sells. --Dan Last edited by Mach V Dan; 02-08-2013 at 03:18 PM. Reason: Price drop! Again! |

The harness connectors for the Headunit are different between the BRZ and the FRS.

Edit: Never mind. Here are the two FR-S rear panels: Base Bespoke BRZ Looks like all of the sockets on the base head unit are present on the BRZ one. The higher-end head units obviously have GPS and other connections the base unit doesn't, but I'm willing to bet any of these can plug into any of the Subaru or Toyota cars. --Dan Mach V Last edited by Mach V Dan; 01-27-2013 at 10:13 PM. |

I could not find the exact post where someone mentioned it, but I remember reading it. This are the pics I could come up with:
FRS Harnress and back of HU: BRZ Harness and Back of HU:
