Still grinning after the ride around the CTC autocross track in a classic Camaro.
Definitely need to sign up one of these times.

Lot's of 86's (and a certain Mazda3 with an excellent clutch) representing today too.

I know Andre has,

But has anyone else had issues with P0351?

Since I am tuned, I am considering doing the swap myself, as apposed to doing the run around with a dealership. I will probably order from Mendez, change all 4, hoping to keep the cost under 400.

So the question I am asking, who has all had the same issue? ( 20,000kms on the car )

@Ft86Chris - you can save 20% off parts at Mendes if you are a registered member of the Scion Owners Club of Ottawa.

I've had it once - I replaced the one coil. I would recommend just replacing the one indicated by the code (front most passenger side) and keep 1 or 2 as spares. It's the most common one to throw a code (due to additional heat from cat?). If it happens again, there's a good chance it will be the same coil.

Thanks Guys,

I am booking an appointment with Belair - I gave in, worth the shot, if that does not go smoothly, I will Order parts from Mendez, and go with what has been suggested, thanks again!

Will post updates.

I am probably the worst in the group for making up my mind, and making last minute decisions. - Lets see how this goes!

Do you mean LCAs? The camber on the rear is not adjustable like the front.

The "stock" alignment specs have a lot of margin in them. You are better off giving the alignment guy a specific setup based on your usage.

Assuming stock suspension that would be something like:

Front camber maxed out with bolts but even left and right. Zero toe.

Even out camber on the rear as best as possible, slight toe in.

When I got my alignment after putting the Pro Kit on the tech told me the best he could do was -2* camber in the rear. I assume by now I'm starting to get uneven wear in the tires.

Forgot you were lowered. That a,dds camber to the rear.

You'll need LCAs if you want to dial it back. 2* is probably a little too much for a daily.

I agree it's a little much.
LCAs aren't really in the budget, so I'll just make a habit of rotating I guess lol

Dunno if anyone else missed the update by Shiv a week ago for the OFT, but thankfully Reddit helped me out! Even more reasons I'm going to go with an OFT!

Hi guys,
We have a big update we will be releasing to all OFT users later
this month. It is something that we have been working on for a little while
now. Something squarely aimed at those who are focused on performance
driving/racing/drifting. It's something that I (personally) have always wanted.
And like all other OFT updates, it will be FREE

With the
next update, you will be able to monitor/data log everything you need to
quantify driving dynamics. This includes:

- Lateral G
- Acceleration
G
- Deceleration G
- Yaw (drifting!)
- Brake pressure
- Steering
wheel angle
- Individual tire air temperatures
- Individual wheel
speeds
- Individual wheel spin

Now there is no need to spend anther
$500-1000 on an add-on race data acquisition system. And even better is that
all these new channels can be monitored/log along with the usual engine related
data (boost, AFR, timing, knock, etc,.) This makes for a VERY powerful tool for
those who want to quantify their driving. With these new features you will be
able to compare lap times and be able to definitively determine where the
difference is as well as how to improve your performance. Monitoring tire temps
will also give you insight into things like alignment, tire size, pressures,
etc. One thing we can't quite log (yet) is tire pressure. But we are working
on it

Cheers,
shiv
