RIP to a FR-S 10 Series

For those that didnt see on the FB page, I laid my 10 Series to rest. Yesterday on my drive home a deer ran into the road, i swerved to miss and applied too much brake, slid into a tree and wrecked her. Airbags didnt deploy and i ended up hitting my head on the drivers side window. I remember nothing from the point of impact until i was standing looking at the car and talking to the Paramedic. CT scan showed nothing bad, just a minor concussion and I have a nice bruise on the back of my upper hip.

And of course today my intake pipe and radiator piping kit came....just adding insult to literal injury!

ASHES TO ASHES, DUST TO DUST. I LAY YOU #0876 TO REST:

Damn, that is quite an impact to not have the airbags deploy!

Glad you are alright and good luck looking for your next car!

My condolences for your loss. There's not much a person can do when a deer jumps into the road. My dad drives a semi and has hit many deer. He says it is best to not swerve and just apply brakes and hit the deer face on. That's obvious for a 12 wheeler, but it applies to cars too.

That's a tough loss, like loosing a friend. At least you're OK and walked away from it.

Yeah it is a hard reaction to drive toward an object, even if it's the lesser of two evils. Sucks because it's an at fault accident but if I hit the deer I wouldn't have been.

Condolences to a fellow 10 Series owner. #0876, you will live on.

Glad to hear you weren't hurt - that's the most important part!
