noticed a website update

I noticed a change on the phantom website - on the FR-S/BRZ page it no longer says it's not yet available, it now just says "contact for pricing"

Tomorrow is the end of January - do you think we'll be hitting the "late January" target stated earlier in the thread? Will there be an announcement of more details soon at least?

If someone wanted that BOV noise - Would a BOV noise be an option? Hahaha

I expect an announcement soon... i believe Rob is pursuing vendor status on the forum.

There isnt enough boost to need a bov and a bov decreases the drivability unless tuned perfectly.

The reason there was a BOV "sound" in earlier revisions was the compressor would brake slower when you let off the throttle.... when this happened the compressor would surge against the closed throttle body creating a BOV like sound.

Driveability is much improved with a faster brake on the comp

Basically this would be something for someone wanting to stay NA, but wanting just a little more oomph out of their NA setup (tuned of course for all the parts, including this one, added on).

Thanks @shiv for the update.

Regarding the WOT switch: Myself, and with feedback from @fenton and @Bu-Tang, spent alot of time programming the accel / decel to provide a smooth ramp up and BOV free method.

Look forward to the dyno, and possibly manipulating the ETC to match the 'ramp'.

Yes just a TINYYYY bit more oomph.......you know... just enough to break the tires loose rolling onto the power in first gear .... i mean its only 60 to 80 ft/lbs more in the dip depending on fuel used

One is with pump gas, the other with e85, I think.

You're testing on crappy acn91 for pump gas, I trust (it throws performance numbers to overly optimistic when you use a better than normal pump gas for the pump tune).

I was referring specifically to the 222 and 223 results. But yeah I get what your saying - although I think you would also recommend that most people should be using better pump gas vs crappy, no?

just as a stock car 92-94oct is recommended. 91 is bare minimum.

The 222 vs 223 is basically both e85. E85 has this strange side effect where you need to do a few dyno runs before you hit your max peak,.
