Youll need forged everything
Higher comp pistons
forged rods
port and polish the shit out of your valves
new much larger cams (which cant be made, dont want to explain do some research)
huge injectors
race gas/E85
stroke and bore kit
titanium valves
redesigned rockers (the current ones arent very stable at high revs)
the free-est flowing exhaust possible (So basically no exhaust)
probably a billet crank.

And in the end youll maybe MAYBE scratch 300whp. Thats with mods that cant be made (cams) and no exhaust. Not to mention incredibly expensive parts.

Don't forget to add speedfactory's new intake manifold to the mix.....if it actually turns out (which I'm willing to bet it will)

You can get 250-300 whp pretty easily with forced induction without needing to tear the engine apart. It's above that line where you start running into reliability issues.

you dont have to build it to handle anything. Just get a jackson racing supercharger kit, oil cooler, catch can, and it will be fine.

I'm 18 but I've been around cars since about 10. Can't anyone just ask a damn question without getting treated like a idiot. I'm building my car becuase it's my passion. I could obviously throw a 2j or uz or ls but I'm not doing that till I blow this engine up. Okay so it can't be done. Thanks for the help

You dont need to build for turbo. Check the owners threads for FullBlown and JDL and PTuning. the car is fine with 8-12 psi, as long as you get it tuned by a reputable tuner.

Tune will hold everything together. @woode held the highest whp on pump gas @ 21 psi on the stock block with a very nice tune. Hes held it for a while, but hes waiting for it to pop so he can build it.

If you've been around cars for that long, you should know that a 2L 4Cylinder is not the most powerful platform for NA.

Thats like me buying a Ninja 250 and going on their forums and asking how to get 100HP out of the motor NA....

Just a stupid question, thats all

I wouldnt bash on him for asking a stupid question (weve all asked those kinds) but being around cars, he should know by now that theres very limited options for small displacement without positive displacment added on from a vaccum

Ressearch first, ask questions second. Then you won't be treated like an idiot on the internet.

This is actually an interesting question: Given a Formula 1 budget and resources, what power could an ultimate NA FA20 make?

Suppose we could get a BMEP of 200 PSI and spin it up to 13,000 RPM = 400 HP
