Less than ONE week to go before the PITL Open House and the PADA Karting Slalom event! Come on out and get the rust off with some karting and talk with some of the funnest guys around when it comes to cars.

WIN YOUR FULL SEASON WITH PITL! How? Register for the Series, and you will get 3 chances on the indoor go-kart autoslalom course to post your fastest time. The FTD of the event will receive a full years free entry to PITL, as well as a free entry to a Pinnacledriving.com future Go-karting event!

Location: Formula Kartways, 79 Bramsteele Rd., Brampton
Date: Sunday, April 23, 2017
Time: 10:00am-1:00pm

Colin and myself are going to be there with some of the other PADA folks popping in later.

Just make sure you sign the waiver and approach whoever it is that you want to ride along with from the Pinnacle Advanced Driving Academy crew in advance (preferably as soon as you get there) so we get a list going.

It's first come first served!

Even if someone was going to hop in, let us know anyways so we can flag you down in case someone bails without letting us know.

The PADA instructor fleet includes:
- Alfa Romeo 4C
- Lotus Exige
- Ford Focus RS
- Mazda Miata (2 x NA)
- Honda S2000 (me!)
- Porsche Cayman S

The Powerade Centre - 7575 Kennedy Road South, Brampton. Just south of Steeles & Kennedy.

HOW MUCH?
$25 series registration fee (one time only) + $40 per event (register online at http://www.motorsportreg.com/orgs/push-it-to-limit).

As a reminder, there is FREE instruction from Pinnacle Advanced Driving Academy (the school where I teach) so if you're new to autocross, take advantage of the PADA crew of professional victims and if you go off course, blame it on us!

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR NEWBIES:
- Come EARLY and join us for the track walk as soon as it is open. Too many folks show up last minute and don't get to walk it and get lost during the limited runs they get in the day.
- Bring LOTS of water! The weather is going to be warm and you WILL dehydrate! Less water, means less brains! Less brains means less driving God!
- Get some dollar store painters tape to tape your number to both sides of your car!
- Bring at least a tire gauge and fill up on air BEFORE the event so you can let out air as the day progresses. Better yet, if you HAVE an air pump, bring it!
- Bring a folding lawn chair if possible. You can sit down and watch the other n00bs go off course because you showed up early and walked the course!

The reason I've said PITL is one of the funnest autocross events I've been to is because the folks are chill and friendly. If you want to hop in with other people in their runs, just ask ahead of time and wait for them when they are lining up for their run (do it at least 5-6 cars ahead of the start line).

I will be there around 7 to 7:30am to help set up the tent and stuff.

Track walk is usually open around 8am.

Never hurts to show up too early but it will hurt to show up late.
