Right now i am testing out a unit with a bigger motor (water cooling option) and 6k controller. The stealth unit was powercoated black with the billet aluminum wheel(that was larger) but had the same motor and controller.

So far it is going great, lots of power and holds on to the boost higher at the top end.

Awesome. I'm pretty content with my current setup, but it's great to see progress on things!

Also my Procede should be out for delivery tonight. I leave for Pismo on Saturday, which is plenty of time to get it installed and tweaked

Sorry just to clarify, the pictures we saw and we're calling the "stealth" unit was just a larger/lighter wheel and you have now moved on testing a larger motor and different controller?

Did you and Rob come to any conclusions about just the larger wheel? Is that something that may be released or was it tested and passed over?

I guess now we need a second name for the new beefier prototype you are testing. 😀 Have a suggestion?

If anyone is interested, I upgraded my header/OP/FP this week and am hoping to make the '86 Dyno day at Church Auto on Sunday. I'm very interested to see what a slightly opened up full exhaust car on e85 will run. Also, the day should be a good way of measuring a Phantom equipped car vs many other configurations on the same dyno, under the same conditions with the same operator.

During the exhaust upgrade I did have one issue with a cross threaded downstream O2 sensor on the stock header. The mechanic couldn't get it out without damaging things, so I ordered a new sensor (btw NGK+Amazon FTW (hopefully)) which will be delivered today. I will install this Saturday and pray for no issues. I was hoping to get e-tuned by @Shiv@Openflash beforehand, but I don't see that happening in time with the week I lost on the O2 sensor so I'll be using the OpenFlash OTS ESC tune.

When all is said and done the setup will be pretty solid:

Phantom ESC 24V 2.0
2x EXT16 "Big Crank" batteries + Odyssey compact starter
Proceed Controller w/ @Sojhinn's v2.0 map
E85 - OpenFlashTablet ESC tune
CNT UEL Header (closest thing I could get to an OFH in a short amount of time - Catless, cheap =) )
2.75" Overpipe (Ultimate Racing)
2.75" Frontpipe (Ultimate Racing - Resonated - Catless)
TRD USA Catback

I didn't want a full 3.0" setup and felt lucky to find Ultimate Racing's offerings on the board (yet another Canadian company, thx Northmen). I'm hoping 2.75" will be a nice medium. Who knows. BTW this setup is actually quieter at low idle and under 3k RPM highway cruising than the TRD Catback + OEM header, FP, OP.

But at WOT, forget about it. It wails.

Tq 300 seems appropriate... Unless it's black... Then we can call it... Wells it's not appropriate.

Hey guys, been reading this and the owners thread and have been weighing my options. Just sent Rob a pm to get on the waiting list.

Quick question on the procede controller. Does it do away with the accelerator pedal switch?

So does the 335i procede work on the FR-S?

Also I guess I need an rs32 to usb adapter - hopefully I can find one at work.

Okay, I was worried I'd have to send it back. If I can't find the cable before this weekend I guess I shouldn't use it? Will it have the sport map loaded or the stock map default? Or will it be a 335i map?

*Edit* Looks like it's the smaller female audio jack too, but I don't think my ESC even came with audio jacks. I may be soldering tonight :p

I wouldn't use it without my map or kools map.
