This video shows the entire underbody in the semi-street spec of the Griffon before they went really hardcore. It was a nod towards what would become the 14R60.

(specifically 0:44)

Ahhh damn, good spot! That piece looks like it would be easy to fab up. I've taken a bunch of measurements while being under the car anyway. Strange it still uses the stock JDM aero panels instead of something larger and more of a 1-piece.

I'm thinking of doing a 3-part under tray for mine, with obvious vents for cooling etc. Very strange the Griffon doesn't have any venting/cooling for the diff, must cook nicely unless they have a diff cooler.

This is my 3rd iteration. I'll probably save this one for track as it is very very aggressive looking and will no doubt attract cop attention. I'll make the next one out of 1.6mil thick aluminium also and shorten it by 50mm and fillet the sharp edges of the strakes.

I think it just identifies the limits of what they wanted to achieve. It is still very much tied to the production car, they have simply covered up the big gaps. There are a few holes in the under tray that would allow cooling flow, and you need to remember that it has an open rear bumper (the cutout where you have your RB diffuser is open on the Griffon either side of the centre mount exhaust). I would guess that it has pretty good cooling of the diff. I have seen guys do hot-rod style louring on the under tray to increase cooling. Lots of ideas. While we can't emulate the Griffon precisely, I'm hoping to do the under tray work once I have my overall aero concept sorted.

If you go for an open bumper like the Griffon, Zele has a diff cooler already good to go that plumbs into the Cusco diff plate and sits where the stock muffler mounts.

Took some pics today, had a drive

Diffuser didn't fall off, which is a good thing.
Butt dyno feels like the car picks up quicker at speed. Will have to see at the next timed track session at Barbagallo.
Took some pictures. The diffuser isn't that noticeable from a side view as it kinda mirrors the bitumen/road. If you are behind it however, thats a different story.

One of the best diffusers I have seen yet. I really want to get a more aggressive diffuser set-up for my cut bumper. Keep up the great work!!

That's actually much more functional with that grey section cut out, as the underflowing air still passes through the subframe with that design getting caught up in the parachute oem bumper. Or otherwise in between or aft the rear wheels.
Am I right in assuming that car felt faster on the butt dyno too?
