I work for a dealership and we currently have #'s 1546 and 1641 of 2500. Surprised how beautiful they look in the sun light.

Can't dig up the answer to following question via searching. 10-series touch up paint (silver ignition) J8A. What's the best source to purchase this touch up paint?

Have a nasty chip underneath the OEM mudguard that I want to at the very least protect and seal the exposed sheet metal.

Two options (maybe three):

There's the dealer touch up paint which has a brush and a pen tip (the pen looks like it can cause more damage). <-quick and dirty
You should keep this or paste wax in your car for field repairs when metal is exposed.

DrColorChip.com paint is thin and fills in voids within chips very well <-very good

Automotivetouch.com up if a. you're patient and b. want the best job without paying a shop (buy the primer/pain/clear in spray cans) -but the site doesn't list silver ignition yet you will have to call them.

Good luck!

Tip: Some people have found it easier to get a hold of paint IJ8. This is the same Silver Ignition but the Toyota code for all the other Scion 10 Series.

Cool Dino shot. Does your 10 have frost on the rear window? The paint finish has great gloss. Is it raining? Reminds me of the way mine looks. What do you use for sealant and/or wax if anything?

Thanks.

It was raining. It stopped when I got back to my car, but still wet.

RainX for the windows. I love how water beads on the glass and just runs off.

My friend recommend Meguires tech art 2.0 so that's what I've been using.
