Same >_<, It's looking SO attractive but they're going to pull out all the stops for the 2014 model seeing as it's the 50th anniversary/last year of the non-global mustang/that retro bodystyle with the live axle.

Well, my buddy has the '12 V6 custom from factory with the hot lava red/black leather, and the car looks and feels pretty good. Lots of soft plastics, etc. What did the '13 model improve interior wise?
Well, aside from tidying up a few lines they're offering the Recaro's that were limited to the Boss for both the 3.8 and the 5.0 and they've got the new "track apps" thing. But it'll still have that retro feel if that's what bothering ya. Gotta wait till 2015 for them to change that, that's when the mustang goes global/downsizes/independent rear suspension etc etc

I can't remember the price of the track package but doesn't pump up the price significantly?

$2k from what I remember. Not too bad with a 23k price tag it's an 8.7% price increase, so I guess it depends on how you want to look at it. Also there's no saying that the new performance package won't cost a little more =/

I'm always for improvements! Also, no true enthusiast could completely rule out any car that's got performance written all over it. On to cheap no less!

2013 Mustang GT:

vs.

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe:

^ Give me the GenCoupe interior with the Mustang wheel.

But pictures aren't touchy-feely, either.

True. Only way to know is to sit in both. I prefer the nav location in the GC. The Mustang placement is too low.

Dropped off my $500 refundable deposit cheque today.

3.8 GT 6mt in Parabolic Blue. Some cars are in port now and shipping to dealers later this month for early April sales. I don't actually want it until May when I know the snow and salt will be gone, so I'm in no real hurry.

I love the sound of the 3.8. I'd take it over the 2.0t just for this sound alone.

This is the old genesis too.

Congrats!! What made you decide to go with the GT? I noticed you are in Canada so your trims are a little different. How come you didn't go with the R-Spec or track trim? Just curious.

I have a 2010 2.0GT now. I think they only sold them in the US one year, but in Canada from 2010-12. Its basically and R-Spec and Premium combined. I really like the car, but its a little slow and I really like the upgraded interior of the 13.

The 13 Premium has all the Tech and the R-Spec the performance, but there is no longer a combination of the two unless you go V6. I guess I'll have to suffer through 348hp to get the fancy options lol.

The options packages are pretty odd when comparing the US to Canada. Our R-spec comes with fogs and cruise control, while the US doesnt. Our Premium is also available with the 6mt, but in the US its auto only.

I still really, really like the FRS and BRZ after seeing them in person, but the BRZ Limited with the nicer interior will be an easy $30K+ here in Canada. The Genesis isnt as pure/small/light/etc, but the HP and options of the Genesis are more important to me.
