Happy Holidays!

Here's an interesting one done for an enthusiast in Germany with a higher red line and the autobahn speed limit counters.

Green for fun. In German, if everything is in its ideal operating state, you would say 'it's in the green zone'

Green doesn't fit well with red here though (purely my subjective aesthetic feel wise).

Still a work in progress but want to give you guys a teaser. Going to make some changes and finalize other details as well as fine tuning some color-light interaction. Some of the details in this test fit are masked off for now pending revisions

6k rpm is when the turbo kicks in! Jokes aside, we decide to be more "faithful" to the original STi Performance concept design. If you noticed, the STi concept has the "6" in a smaller font because they decided to fit the x1000 r/min font under it and put the STI logo in its place. So thats what we are going to do. The other changed I've blurred out is because the limitations dictates a change to the red line design.

Here is the edited version. I am looking into having the grey bar that extends from 0 - 7000 rpm in a special reflective finish so that it will appear to light up when the needle passes overhead. I will have to see if it make sense.

Original

BTW, imho you should really think of some mechanism to customize these. For example - to change branding logo (if eg. GT86 owner would like to have this STI one and so on), and to change redline (depending on custom tune custom redline limits). Don't know how to do that better - i guess some small cutout with needed insert that would change what's displayed there for logos? Some whiteout at range where redline might be + stick-on transparent but colored tape that can be resticked up & down the range?

I love the sti cluster! I can't wait to buy it. I think there should be more emphasis on the sti emblem, it feels cluttered at the moment. If your able to get the reflective material over the rpm numbers I think it would look a lot better!! Can't wait. Good work.
