A little blurry, nonetheless enjoy!

Mmmm... I have nothing against women drivers but that was annoying and boring.

Women and BRZ in the same sentence, doesn't sound that boring to me :-)

J/K I get what you mean, the drive was super boring. It's just the first test drive recorded in USA, that's all.

Horrible video quality, shut it off after 10 seconds. GoPros are not expensive.

I enjoyed it. Not the greatest quality but better than nothing at all!

Women seem really underrepresented on this forum. I thought the numbers showed it would be a car driven by both sexes but based on what I see here it seems man-heavy.

Any other forums (like a Miata forum) where women are represented in greater numbers?

First time I've seen the red illumination of the gauges. Nice.

Fail. Come on folks, most cameras in cell phones have better quality video than that. Its 2012 already.

Yeah, the thing I liked about the video was the way the ilumination in the gauges compliments with the A/C controls.

The point of the post was not to score the video quality, it was only to show the first recorded BRZ test drive.

Miata forum has about 2 females, and about 10,000 old guys. :p

Feels a little creepy, as if you're watching a hidden camera video. I was also a little sad to hear them talk about how all of the pre-production models touring now will be crushed around mid-June. I knew they weren't to be sold, but still...crushed??

Overall, crappy video but thanks for posting...I'm desperate for new BRZ material...

They're probably being crushed due to not meeting safety standards? The video quality is just horrible.

Damn I'd take one to keep on display in a garage or museum or something. Or save parts that don't effect safety/driving to a pick-and-pull junkyard. Or let an artist/sculptor have their way with it. Or give them to aftermarket companies to make molds for lightweight body panels, etc. Or convert them to off-street kit/race cars. Tons of stuff you can do besides crush them.

Just regulations regarding pre-production vehicles. It's likely an entirely "ready" car as far the electronics and safety suite goes.
