Yes, once we receive the new updated bearing from NTN all our (EXEDY) clutch kits will have the updated bearing included except for the twin plate, it uses a different bearing.

Just an update, which I also posted on my build tread...

--Buy the snout if your TOB fails or looks anything like this:




Not only was the surface texturized with melted plastic/delrin (whatever the backing on the TOB is made of), but it also had a palpable step off and taper to the ends where material was worn away.

What I find slightly funny about the above is the fact the snout is removable now.

If anyone has owned an older Subaru, you may be familiar with the snout kit which had a snout that would fit over the original with a larger I.D. bearing.

So, to combat the same problem of a wearing snout, we now have replaceable snouts. However, it seems we have the same low durability of the OEM bearing and snout.

True but even if the new TOB lasts another 60-100k miles then that is like 10 years for me so a new snout isn’t so bad.
