Yea, it can be.

Until you mention how harsh the car rides...
Or how loud the road nose is...
Or that you got 10 extra HP from your aftermarket intake...

Then shots get fired and all hell breaks lose.

Oh, and, the sound thingy makes a phwarpy farty sound!! Gives the car an extra 20bhp at the front wheels...

2013 Subaru BRZ Premium owner here, still drive the car everyday. I ride a motorcycle and mostly commute by bicycle so my mileage is low (37k).

The car has never had a major malfunction on me but when I go to the track with the car club I've found the common complaints are...
Under powered, brakes get squishy, stock tires are trash.

Consumer reports had it as the 2nd most reliable car one year. Not sure what year or if it was just the sports car category. But still pretty good.

I just got my BRZ about two weeks ago and I feel like I am beating the crap out of my engine when I am driving spiritedly due to the power band. Hopefully, the only issue I have in the future is an increase in my gas bill.
