So after installing the headers and front pipe my car was just too loud for my tastes. so I swapped out my nameless axelback and put on the stock axelback. This took the volume way down. Too far down for my liking. Also certain rpms rev matches just sounded lame. Not to mention the lame tips. This was about 5%-10% louder then stock through the rev range according to their website. I am also running a JDL ultra quiet front pipe. I figured this would add some dBs compared to their standard tests. I finally got it shipped over from Japan on Tuesday. Installed and it I am so happy with the noise level. This feels like the perfect exhaust setup for me. My full exhaust is Gruppe-s EUL headers -> stock overpipe -> JDL ultraquiet front pipe -> stock midpipe -> Fujitsubo Authorize S.

Great weekend with the car. Lapping out at The Ridge Motorsport park on Saturday . Then Drifting @ RMP on Sunday. Learning, living, having fun.


In other news JR oil cooler Radiator combo held up really well this weekend with the supercharger. Also the hood vents seem to be releasing a lot of heat.(lol I just put my hand over the vents and lotta hot air there)
Finally got my freaking JDM DRLs from ft86speed factory.
Installed them using the wire harness I build on my Series yellow.

Man I wish I could have made the event this weekend. How was it drifting with the supercharger compared to mostly stock last month?

Surprisingly similar in first gear. Completed my first figure 8 drift this event! Just started doing some second gear big donuts. This is where I can really notice the extra power. I am drifting @ 3-5k RPM in second. I was surprised you weren't there!

Congrats on the figure 8! Getting those down is huge since you get to start practicing your transitions. I imagine that extra power in second would be really nice, I was letting the RPMs drop real low in second on a few corners at the last event and I had to rely on the snap of the transition to keep me in drift, since I didn't have enough power to just push out of it.

I really wanted to be there but I didn't get everything ready in time. Had to buy new daily tires, more drift tires, and repair one of the rims from my drift set. Luckily I have the VR setup so I am still getting some practice this week. I should be back out there next month though!

Ya. understandable. Sometimes the timing doesnt work out. We should have a good event next month

Recently when and did Track day in America. Was a ton of fun. My car ran into some misfire problems. Dropped the car off at the drift office for an investigation. hopefully just something simple. I was having a ton of fun at track night. Sad it was cut short.

Went drifting again last Sunday. No longer doing donuts and figures 8s. I am on to the drift course.

Hell yeah man! I am hoping I will make it to more events next year. Gotta start stockpiling tires in the offseason!
