Subaru OEM STI Pinks - Springs (USDM/North America)

OEM STI Pinks will be available for the USDM market for 2017-2018 BRZ's, but they are not designed to be used on BRZ Limited with Performance Package or the BRZ tS.

Subaru BRZ STI Performance Springs

Part Number: B2010CA000
STI springs are stiffer than stock springs and lower the vehicle's ride height by about 10mm. The lower center of gravity can reduce body roll and result in improved handling.

Don't the JDM STI springs have a 15mm or 16mm drop? These US market springs may be different if they are stating a 10mm drop.

If I want to lower my tS a little lower, should I get the JDM STI springs that have a higher mm drop? Would it off balance the suspension geometry? I am trying to fix the fist size gap the US STI springs come with.

If you're in Japan, why would you even bother trying to get USDM parts..??

That's nice, but it still doesn't answer my question.

Curious how well these would pair with the 2017 performance package Sachs dampers. I thought someone said the new tS or an older JDM version used the same Sachs. But maybe I'm wrong.

The US tS comes stock with the US STI springs. I don't mind getting the JDM STI springs for my US tS. I am just wondering if its a lower drop and if it will throw off the balance of the US tS?

Do I make sense now?

I think @SkyeHack means he's getting the USDM tS but is wondering if he should pick up the JDM Pinks before he leaves Japan since they have a greater drop than the USDM springs. But he doesn't know if that'll throw off the tune for the USDM suspension.

It's not going to 'throw off the tune' or 'off balance the suspension geometry' any more than it would if installing JDM STi on any other version. In fact, there will probably be even less difference, and less reason to do so.

Im curious to see how well they pair up with the Showa dampers... I wish they lowered 15mm like the JDM STI Pink springs
