Ummm..... stupid question coming up. How does it seal at the arrows given the (nice) welds don't run all the way along the adjoining edges?

Those welds are just on the jig if I'm not mistaken.

We're likely anodizing these, although we may be able to look into powdercoating some.

We considered it. However, we were unsure how that would effect the calibration of the injector timing. We would rather this be more simple bolt on, tune, and go, then an extensive test in patience and calibration procedure. Realistically, the % in gain is just not there for this application to benefit in our application. However, possibly something to test in the future.

. It won't go to production if it doesn't make power though.

Just found, and read this whole thread. I really hope this makes it to production, even if it loses power, its still beautiful. I've got a high hp FI setup with heads and a built motor. If you need a testing guinea pig sign me up!!

Go Go Velox Power

They've got
A power and a force
That you've never seen before.
They've got
The ablilty to create
That should even up the score.
Heaps up high and some on down
The power lies on the intake side

Go Go Velox Power
Go Go Velox Power
Go Go Velox Power
Mighty Manifold Velox Power

They know
The fate of the output is
Lying in their hands
They know to only use their
Testing procedure to prove
Whether to release or not
The power lies on the intake side

With apologies to Ron Wasserman

In which case it looks like you can auction off the prototype for a nice piece of change.

Their is no way I could even recover half of the cost of this intake manifold through an auction! . That's without even factoring the time building it, or the 6 months spent developing multiple different models and quoting various designs.

If she doesn't make it to production... it'll go on my wall of fame/shame .

I was just joking about all the guys saying they want it anyway.
But seriously, wouldn't it make sense to recover any portion of the cost?
