While these are not a supercar, it is ALREADY near impossible to find a low mileage bone stock 6-speed that has not been trashed.

I'm not saying they will be worth much in the future, but I am saying they will be very hard to find.
I GOT ONE! I GOT ONE!

2013 - MT- bone stock - 22,000 miles

$50,000 USD - Cash

Bring trailer - some say it has weak valve springs -

Meh and there are $50,000 Bel Aires out there. Inflated 2018 dollars make it appear that the car has gone up in value way more than it has. You would have made far more money by taking the cash and investing it. If you buy a brand new 86, park it, store it properly, maintain it then you are investing a pile of cash with a questionable return in 30 years.

I think you will find that the clean, unmolested (besides exhaust and wheels) low mileage, twins are more common than the ones that have been trashed. Even on this forum they are the majority.

It's worth $14k or $15k.
Nice car.
I'll hit you up if you still have it for sale in 10 years.

Thanks, Sherlock.
Every already knows how the stock market works.
No one said storing a car was a good investment.

The vast majority of these cars are modded turds
and an original one is already very very very hard to find.

As these cars get cheaper, even more clown will ruin the survivors.
20 years from now, they will be unicorns.

Over exaggerated how many are modded. At least here.

Original low km cars are everywhere here.

In the end they are cheap sports cars, I cannot see them being the next collector car.

It's not like in 20 years time the people who wanted one when they were young can afford them, hell, they can afford them now.

Plus they don't build them like they use to, these cars are not made to last

use, abuse, next

I think you're running in the wrong circles.

I see maybe a dozen or so of them during the passing of a week, and rarely are they modified, at least externally. Are they modified more than your average runabout? Probably. I doubt that more than 15 or 20% of them are modified to the level you are describing though.

Please provide supporting evidence for your statement that they are mostly modified turds.

People did say that storing the car was a good idea that was what started the whole conversation on the subject.

Yes as they get older pure low mileage ones will be harder to find. That is how it works. There will also be fewer people looking for them so it balances out. It is a low demand car now and that isn't going to change 20 years from now.

No worries, the recall said 1% of the cars were affected.
I don't plan on doing the recall on my car either.

What I was trying to get at, by mentioning the "original" valve springs, is that it is TOTALLY unmolested. Get it. All original has MUCH higher value. -

Of course. I'll stand up on the street and let the buyer know when the FedEx and UPS trucks, that wait down the street till I try to back out, are revving up.
