Window ducts/air circulation

Living here in Texas, it can be pretty brutal. Air was over 100, so I'm sure it was pretty hot in my car, too. Not sure if it's just another year of age or what, but the heat is getting to me. I noticed there is almost no airflow into the car.

Does anyone make a duct for the little window sail? Just getting some air moving inside the car would be great.
I think a cool suit is next.

In the old days, I saw some drivers tape/ziptie a short piece of dryer duct to the side mirror. I wasn't pretty, but it worked.

I just ordered one of these. My plan is a lexan widow in the 1/4 window frame at the front of the door. I will miter out the naca shape and attach this duct to the inside.

I installed Naca ducts just like this in both the driver and passenger sail windows on my Miata. They move a TON of air when the car is moving. In the Miata world, there are lexan kits that come pre-cut in with the correct window shape and Naca ducts opening. You just insert the duct and rivet them in place. I am not sure if something similar could be done with a BRZ/FRS or not. The sail panel on the Miata has a frame, where the BRZ/FRS does not.

Window ducts/air circulation

I looked at doing something similar, but being an ewok sized human I find myself looking through the wing window on the driver side a lot when spotting apex's.

If you can live with a couple of HP loss, just run the HVAC blower motor. The air should be close to ambient as long as the car's moving

Just thinking out loud: I wonder if removing the cabin filter for track days would significantly help the air flow through the vents?

It would also help get shit into the blower, evaporator, etc. I've cleaned out the tray underneath the wipers. Blecch.

Prolly fine, though.

I dont think I want it. I swear significantly it's hotter than ambient and does more harm than good.

Works pretty good at 45 mph. In 2 weeks, I'll test at higher speeds at VIR.
