Ask on an antique car thread. They were a great unit back in 2001 but I am sure there are much better units now.

Did you find one laying on the side of the road or something?

Oh and why not go over to the turbo sub where you can get some real answers from the experts that stay away from random like it has the plague?

haha its my starter turbo, something to just get me into FI. I have been building NA motors since I was like 6 (dads a racecar driver) but I have only ever read about turbos/sc never owned or worked on one to be honest.

edit: I like the fun answers I get here :p

I wouldn't bother. They were a hassle even when new. I blew two out of my Talon. If you are going to go FI then don't mess around with "starter" turbos just to get into FI. Oh, and don't even think about trying to run that big on stock internals. You won't even get out of the shop with it.
Do it right. Do it once!

I am getting a SBD kit so I am going to use that unit for now. I do want to upgrade it one day though. Maybe in the spring time I will pick up something nicer

So you are going to spend $4K to give you too much power for winter driving to drive it for the winter and change it in the spring?

No wonder you are spending so much.

Then, I saw the holy grail of jeans. Levi's makes an "athletic" fit. Extra room in the butt and thighs, with a slight taper. Holy hell. These things are amazing. Even a bit stretchy. I think I've found my forever jeans.
I must find these and i must find these now.
