Is there a tune for “throatier” Burble/Pops?

Hi all,

Im running all stock with Stg1 OFT and a Fujitsubo Catback. And sometimes, when i let go of the throttle and the rpm starts to go down, i can actually hear a very very faint burble. I could imagine this is the same nature that triggers the pops/cracks for those who intentionally tune it in.

Anyway, my question is, is tuning for pops/cracks a binary all-or-nothing? Or can it be tuned to a more subtle level? I want it to be lower-pitched and weaker, making it sound more like a burble than a pop. (Just like the stock new supra) and is this doable on OFT?

Any inputs would be great!

I'd imagine that it's limited to the engine, which is why BMW's seem to have burbles rather than pops like Subarus.

you can mess with the tune on the OFT for more/louder pops-- some guys even go so far as to shoot flames.

There's a few threads on here with that topic already, search em up

I actually want to tune for a very subtle burble. Only for my enjoyment in the car.

I know it’s fun, but with an exhaust these things are loud enough. I hear everyone that goes by in my neighborhood. When you get up and leave for work early in the morning you don’t want to wake the whole place.

Some young kid has a bmw with insane pops, drives by my house in the afternoon going maybe 15 mph, but cars sounds insane. First time I heard it I thought it was cool, it gets old fast. I meaning he’s driving like a grandma.

My ARC grip catback gave the car a very deep burble, without being overly loud.

My car doesn't pop or bang though, maybe because it is tuned properly.
