Any reason you guys went with a 2.25 size piping versus a 2.5? Just curious?

The overall diameter is 60.2mm/2.37"

That's the only video we have at this moment, as we will have more pics and video soon! And for those who are local, feel free to come by and check out, to look and hear the exhaust in person!

2.25" will have the best overall results, less torque loss vs. power increase.
2.5" will give more top end speed, but some of the low end torque can be lost.
Unless you are going for some extreme boost, then the 2.25" will be the perfect setup.

Please check out the price in the marketplace:

Anyone have an idea how this exhaust would pair with an innovative or Vortech SC? Just wondering if the piping size would matter.

We are planning to go FI with our car, to see the outcome/power gain pairing with our exhaust system, but still looking which setup/kit to go with. If someone already boosting their FR-S/BRZ near the socal area, and indeed looking for an exhaust, please feel free to contact us and we can work something out!

Any advantage to the atomized finish as opposed to the polished besides an aesthetic change?

Both polished/atomized are using stainless steel as for the material, only differences are finishes. We are offering more options for buyer, some will like the shinny polished, while some will like the atomized look. The atomized finishes are the same as what Akrapovic are offering, here is a picture of the Arkapovic system as a reference:

Any idea on how it compares to OEM's weight?

Could you define limited warranty?

Could you post a picture of under side, taken on the level/horizontal. It seems where the two pipes overlap/cross, where one drops below the other, could be below the rest of under carraige and could get hit while going over bumps?

Thanks...

Weight for all 3 pcs: the mid-pipe, the Y-pipe, and the muffler section is about 35lbs.

Our limited warranty are equivalent to most of the manufacture/brand out there. We warrant our product to be free from defects in material and workmanship, to the original purchaser with properly installed. It does not cover resulting from misuse, improper installation, abuse, alteration, involvement in an accident, and normal wear and tear.

We've been using this setup since 09/2012, with ZERO issue on clearance, such as speed bumps. Here is a picture per requested:

looks amazing. Now I just need to convince myself that the smaller 2.25" piping is all that I will need...

We did a measurement again, the overall diameter is 60.2mm/2.37".

Am I correct in my understanding that this replaces the stock mid-pipe and therefore takes a cat out of the equation? Or are we only dealing with a cat-back here?

Yes, our exhaust kit is a cat-back, which will include a replacement of the mid-pipe, the Y-pipe, and the exhaust section, it's all the parts starting after the front pipe, and it's not a deletion of the cat.
